Alex Gale is a journalist, musician and proud New York City native based in Brooklyn.

Alex has been working in magazine and online publishing since 2000. He's written and edited for Billboard, L'Uomo Vogue, XXL, Glamour, Complex, Popular Mechanics, Brooklyn Bound, BET and many other magazines and websites. He's also worked as a copywriter for Pepsi, Tourneau and Sony BMG.

On the music side, he's been producing, songwriting and playing bass guitar and other instruments since he was a child. He's a long-time member of hip-hop band Dujeous; has played bass for Mark Ronson, Lily Allen, Maya Azucena and Kanye West; and has produced and written songs for Homeboy Sandman, AKIR, Jean Grae, Mr. Lif and others. He helped the score the films Paper Soldiers (2002) and Lucky (2013).
